Crazy payout fees at JazzSports

3/4/2010 2:04:47 AM by Smurf71
What is wrong with these guys??? They technically don't have payout options as much as I'm concerned. Customer service guy sounded like he was on weed. so here's what he said

- Money order by Fedex - up to $2000/day Fee $80
-BW up to $2000/day Fee $80

They cry on your chest and tell you stories how they don't make any money on payouts but if fee on a payout is nearly 10% that is f... up!!!

I was thinking they are type of book who accept pro players, their limits are good.
CS guy said- "why do you worry about payout options, you have a zero balance!"
WTF! :lmao:

About 3 weeks ago they had cashiers check up to $2500 with $55 fee. Now that was on the edge yet somewhat acceptable but who the hell is going to pay $80 on $2000???

US banks and offshore gambling

2/2/2010 10:00:00 PM by Smurf71
Would anybody share opinions about banking topic in US that is related to offshore gambling. Well pros would call what they do "sports investing" but US banks Wachovia, Chase, Bank of America are still paranoid as much as I have heard. Laws are strict and IRS is a deadly shark that can freeze all your accounts in a second.
Good pro player plays in 10-15 books and probably receives and deposits about 15 checks per month to his account plus wire transactions. It has been debated , which one is better wire or check and yet there is no clear answer....

Week 9 parlay looks like this.

Here's the parlay I'm debating. I did the analysis of all the games and also gut feeling supports those picks. Now even a fool knows- parlay like this will never pass the test. It has to be shorter. So please help me out , I need healthy criticism here. Thanks!:hattip:

Good things about BetPhoenix

10/27/2009 8:49:59 PM by Smurf71
I got $200 "freeplay" from BetPhoenix and I called in to ask how can I bet this amount on parlays or teasers. Clerk said that I can bet on 4 team parlays or 3 team teasers max. I made 3 team teaser on NFL Sunday and won easily, next day my winnings were gone. As I found out the real answer was 3 team parlays and 2 teams teasers are allowed for freeplay .So CS serice guy just messed up a little. That info can be found on their website, but for a customer it is easier to call in and ask than spend 15 minutes searching their website for the right line.
Anyway , here's what happened next:

I called to Kristy from BetPHoenix staff, they listened to tapes and admited that clerk made mistake. My winnings were credited back to me. Well $180 won't make me any richer or them any poorer, it is a matter of great service, that what it's all about. How many books would do that for their customers? Not many is my guess. So great experience with BetPhoenix here. Good book and great CS.:hattip:

Heritage Sports is jerking people around

Heritage sports- "by invitation only" book is messing around with whomever wants to join. Every time you call in there is another uncle on the phone who tells you a different story. As a matter of fact they sending out invitations pretty randomly( they don't admit that though ) and many people on this forum have received those.
After registration I have been calling in for 4 months with a code they gave me. They have been telling me to call back in late August ...so finally I got tired of this and said - "if you send invitations...

REC or PRO

8/27/2009 5:30:04 PM by Smurf71
Most books have a RISK DEPARTMENTS who are spending their days analyzing us and our bets, trying to figure out who we are and what to do with us. To ban or not to ban , that is the eternal question.

I'd like to ask:

Where exactly “recreational player” ends and “pro “ starts ? By the book it should be A. you are doing it as a hobby. B. you are doing it as a business...or is it A. You bet $100/game B. You bet 5-10K a game? Yet I think it is more...
